On May 20, the world's first 100,000-ton smart fishery large-scale aquaculture ship "Guoxin 1" was delivered and operated in China Shipbuilding Group Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., LTD., "Guoxin 1" with a total length of 249.9 meters, a displacement of 130,000 tons, and a load capacity of 100,000 tons, carrying out famous aquaculture fish breeding such as large yellow croake, grouper and Atlantic salmon in the mode of "on-board tank cultivation". It indicates that China's far-reaching sea large aquaculture industry has realized the advanced development from 0 to 1.
Previously, Zhejiang Four Brothers Rope Industry Co., LTD. It is reported that "Guoxin No. 1" started construction in Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding in December 2020, launched in January 2022, and successfully completed sea trials in the Yellow Sea from April 30 to May 5, with 48 (sets) of ship and aquaculture equipment test results meeting or better than the scheduled indicators, and the evaluation of experts from China Classification Society and Fisheries Institute involved in the trial exceeded expectations. The successful delivery of this project marks a major breakthrough in the construction technology of large-scale high-tech aquaculture vessels in China, and also marks the successful application of FBR products in this important field.
